Ben is a Manager in the Transaction Advisory and Litigation Support practice at Brown Smith Wallace. He began his career at the firm as a financial analyst in 2010 and returned in 2016.
Ben has extensive experience performing financial reporting, tax planning and audit reviews. He has built and modified valuation models to support fair value estimation of complex legal structures, and concluded supportable enterprise and equity values through the use of income, market and cost valuation approaches.
Prior to rejoining Brown Smith Wallace, Ben was a manager at Ernst & Young in New York City, where he performed fair value premise legal entity valuation for tax, restructuring and management planning purposes, and executed goodwill impairment testing and purchase price allocation analysis. He also supported audit engagements by reviewing valuation analysis prepared by third party specialists for methodological and technical accuracy.
Ben is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst ® designation. He also earned the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami School of Business.
